Actemium in Essen is looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to strengthen our team. As an Electrical Design Engineer, you play a key role – electrically – in the development process, from project conception to fully functioning machines. You work closely with colleagues from other departments to create safe and innovative solutions.

Your role

• Your focus is on designing advanced machines, taking into account all safety standards, in close collaboration with other departments
• You are involved in various projects from start to finish
• You oversee production and maintain smooth communication with colleagues
• You actively contribute ideas for improvements and smart solutions – your input matters!
• You validate safety applications
• You carry out risk analyses and technical calculations
• You create detailed technical drawings, compile bills of materials, and develop documentation

Your Profile

• You have a passion for engineering and a strong interest in technology
•  You have experience in machine construction – this is a must for us
• Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics? That’s a great plus!
• Familiarity with EPLAN or SEE Electrical is a bonus
• You work in a structured and precise way
• You have a flexible mindset and easily adapt to different projects
• You see challenges as opportunities rather than obstacles
